Seaton Youth Fishing Expedition
We’re proud to partner with the VMRC to take children of incarcerated adults on a special fishing adventure aboard a headboat out of Lynnhaven Inlet. Each child receives their own fishing gear and other fun items to enjoy during the trip.
The day ends with a lively pizza party, giving these youngsters a day full of joy, fresh air, and positive memories on the water.
Free Boating Safety Course
The Virginia Beach Anglers Club proudly offers a free, full-day Boating Safety Course, complete with lunch, to help both new and experienced boaters complete their required Virginia Boating Safety Training.
This program promotes safer, more responsible boating while encouraging greater enjoyment of our local waters.
Kids Surf Fishing Clinics
In partnership with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and other local clubs, we host fun and educational surf fishing clinics throughout the summer at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Sandbridge.
Designed for kids age 7 and up, these clinics teach valuable fishing skills while fostering a love and respect for our coastal environment.
Crab Creek Clean Up
The Virginia Beach Anglers Club is committed to keeping our waterways clean and beautiful. We proudly organize cleanups at the Crab Creek major boat ramp complex twice a month during the boating season.
These efforts help ensure that future generations of anglers and boaters can continue to enjoy these cherished public access areas.
Hooked On Hope
We are honored to support Hooked On Hope, an incredible organization that gives families of terminally ill children the gift of a memorable family fishing trip.
There is no cost to the families. They simply get to focus on building beautiful memories together while the VBAC helps provide funding and logistical support.
